In
2001, Divine Romance’s founder and
President, Rayne Ethetton, was enjoying life
as a wife and stay at home mother to her 2
year old daughter. As much as she enjoyed
this, the longing for a little "grown-up"
interaction, and the need for extra income
caused her to become a consultant with
another direct sales company where she
eventually became a Director. However
getting people to do shows proved difficult,
and the income, even as a Director, wasn't
what she was hoping for. After attending an
in-home show that sold intimate products for
women, she saw the potential and signed up
immediately. She suddenly had more business
than she could handle! No more begging
people for shows -- everyone wanted to have
a show with her! She found that she easily
climbed the ladder of success and within
less than two years became one of the top in
sales and gained more than 60 active
consultants with the company.
Rayne soon found out that her success was
attributable to the way she did her shows
and that she was doing them quite
differently than other people in the
company. She noticed the overwhelming
interest in offering classy shows where the
consultant used medical terms and not
raunchy or pornographic means to sell the
product. Most of all, she realized that the
company she was promoting did not share her
Christian values. Something had to change.
Consequently, Rayne started Divine Romance
in her kitchen office with a hired assistant
and a best friend, Michelle Melton, as a
partner. Word spread quickly and many women
wanted to be a part of this new concept. The
company quickly outgrew the kitchen as piles
of merchandise filled it, the hallway, and
the foyer. The kitchen was abandoned for
what is now the Divine Romance Home Office
headquarters and warehouse and is growing at
an exceptional rate. Divine Romance now
serves consultants nationwide.
Rayne recognizes the success of Divine
Romance lies in her commitment to the
mission of the company and its values,
well-trained consultants and quality

Michelle Melton began her
career in the direct selling industry after
attending her first show. At the time,
she was seeking a way to make some extra
money while being able to stay home with her new baby.
Little did she know that not only would she be able to make
the extra money her family needed, she was going to meet
some amazing people in the process.
Michelle was in the middle of a career as a
horticulturist when she became pregnant with her first child and
made the decision to reprioritize her life. She gave up a very
good salary in a field where she was well-respected in order to
become a full-time mom. Unfortunately, she and her husband quickly
realized they needed some extra money just to keep up with the
monthly bills. She attended one of Rayne's shows and was immediately
interested in this home-based business where she could control her
own schedule and have unlimited income. The more effort she put
into her business, the the more money she made. It was perfect.
Michelle says things only got better when she
was approached by Rayne to help start a new company that would
not only teach women how to improve their relationships but to
empower them to have all the benefits of their own business with
the foundation of a supportive, successful company with good
values focused on God. Michelle immediately signed on to help start this company
where she could help dreams come true.
Michelle is committed to helping women become
